Okay, so, I’m working on revising a story. Well, not right now, but that’s meant to be ironic. Because, you know, I’m procrastinating on continuing to edit a story.
These are the pictures of the cave I was telling you about! You can use these to get an idea of the terrain in the story I just posted here.
This is a li’l waterfall on the exterior of the cave that feeds the brook running through it.
Coming right out of the cave, you can just see the trees and the sky the way the opening goes.
This is a wall of the cave (and the brook in the bottom of the frame) as you come out of the cave, but I wanted to show you this picture because this wall is the terrain of the entirety of the cave.
A good shot of the brook as it runs out of the cave. Imagine this picture dark and closed off by the top, take out the moss, and you’ve got a pretty good idea of what the interior of the cave looked like. (If you extend the square footage by, like, a lot.)
These next pictures I got from Google, to, hopefully, get you some more interior(ish) shots of the cave:
This is right before you exit–ignore the boardwalk, look at the terrain. You can see some of the brook, too.
This is the best I could find of the actual interior. You can see the cavemouth, and the perception is a little off–the cave floor and ceiling aren’t nearly that close together–but you get the idea of what it looks like.
I just thought this one was pretty, so I included it. 🙂
I wish I had some really good pictures of the interior. Unfortunately, caves being caves, there’s not enough light to get good interior shots. I hope you liked the pictures, though!
Remember, I’m collecting submissions for the next Cobble Comment Story, so leave those down below! If you haven’t entered for Cobble Comment Stories before, go here for rules for entry.
