I’m sure you know that school is starting next week for most of us.
It is for me.
Now that I’ve had orientation I’m much less nervous about school. But I’m still rather put out that my summer’s about to end.
And, as summer’s ending, that means there’s some change afoot for this blog.
I know … I’m sorry … no, please stop crying … please? I’m a sympathetic cryer, you know …
Nothing major. I just doubt I’ll be able to keep up this seven-day-a-week posting schedule I’ve had going.
I’ll try to post as often as I can, but I will be much busier, especially when dance starts up again. (Which is on the eighth. Just by the way.)
This change has already started.
You may have noticed that my posts have been gradually getting shorter. Yesterday’s is only like 276 words. (That’s an estimate. I’m too lazy to go and check.) This is because of orientation and figuring out how the year’s going to go and making sure I have everything I need.
Fortunately, you’re all going back to school and work full time now, too, so you’ll all be busy as well!
Which means that a different posting schedule shouldn’t be that big of a deal, luckily.
I mean, I know you’re all going to be crushed that you’ll no longer be able to spend every second of every day reading and re-reading my blog, but it’ll be okay. I promise.
Basically I just wanted to let you guys know that I probably won’t be posting as often in the coming months. This is partly because I will be busy and partly because I don’t want to give you quick, but poorly written, posts.
A few of my posts lately have not been up to par; they’re hasty and not very well written. I’m rather disappointed in them.
I would like to improve my writing. I know that this will happen with time, but it will also happen with hard work.
So, just know that if I don’t post for several days, it’s only because I want to write something good for you.
Thanks for being awesome and patient.
And good luck if you’re going back to school!
